Founded by Dominic Pesoli, Chicago based 8 Count Productions is the most active boxing promotions company in Chicago and surrounding Midwest since its inception in 1997. 8 Count has single handedly revived the boxing scene in Chicago by bringing big name world champion fights to top tier arenas and maintaining a steady calendar of local events in Chicago year after year at leading athletic venues, casinos and theaters. Currently, 8 Count promotes all events at The UIC Pavilion in the heart of Chicago.

Dominic co-promotes many events with top promoters around the country, elevating the level of boxing for Chicagoans. Dominic maintains strong working relationships with his peers and is always working on bringing exciting, top level matches to Chicago where the fans always come first.

8 Count's roster of fighters include boxing future stars, Donovan George, Andrzej Fonfara, and local fan favorites.

Dominic's events have been nationally broadcasted on HBO, SHOWTIME, FOX SPORTS NET, ESPN2, Telefutura and Telemundo.

Jerry Alfano - Director of Boxing

Jerry is one of the most respected matchmakers in the industry and works closely with top promoters and matchmakers worldwide. Jerry has been involved in matchmaking some of the most memorable fights to date. Jerry has been involved in professional boxing for 20 plus years.

Jerry's day to day duties include: match-making, negotiating fighter's contracts, scouting and signing talent and ensuring fighter's medicals and licenses are up to date. Jerry is a licensed corner-man and cut-man.

Bernie Bahrmasel - PR

A native Chicagoan, Bernie has worked with 8 Count Productions since shortly after the company started promoting as "The Home of the Best in Chicago Boxing." With his extensive and long-term relationships with local and national media he is able to garner a wealth of press for each 8 Count Productions event.

In March of 2008, Bernie started his Chicago based publicity firm, Double B Publicity, focusing on sports related campaigns for clients across North America. With the scores of televised events 8 Count Productions promotes, Bernie has been the company's point man with networks including HBO, Showtime, NBC, Telefutura and Telemundo as well as other promoters Top Rank Incorporated, Golden Boy Promotions, Main Events and DiBella Entertainment.
